I am in love with the photos from this recent Lethbridge newborn photography session. Little Jaxon was such an amazing little newborn model, he slept like a champ! I literally did not want to stop taking his pictures, I just wanted to keep going on and on. I have so many new favorite images, it was so hard for me to narrow down which ones to show here on the blog so, I picked a lot! I hope you enjoy looking at these.

Such a beautiful family!

I am taking a limited number of bookings for fall, and since fall is always a popular time for photos, that means you should book early to reserve a date. Give me a call (or email!) today!

I was so excited to work with this family again! Last time they came to see me, big sister Molly was the baby. Her baby session was one of my favorite baby sessions ever, because she was so happy awake, and so adorable asleep. This time Molly brought her brand new baby sister Adeline (17 days old). And just like last time, these two beautiful girls were perfect photoshoot subjects. Here are a few of my favorites from our studio session together (lots to share because it was such a great session!).

If you are expecting and would like to book a newborn session with me, please send me a message as soon as you think of it! Newborns are best photographed at a young age so they stay sleepy and happy :)

Just a quick one to share of this adorable newborn baby boy named Jaxon. He was a dream baby and it was so incredibly hard to pick one to share first, because I love all the photos from his photo session! More to come very soon!

I’m so excited to share photos from this recent studio newborn session. For now, I’ve just got one adorable sneak peek… check back soon for lots more!

Today I am going to share some photos from a recent newborn/baby session. At six weeks old, Nathan wasn’t quite a new newborn like some of the babies I photograph, but he also wasn’t very old! Sometimes waiting until they are 6-8 weeks old can result in really great photos, they are still tiny like a newborn but they also are able to make eye contact, and some even coo and smile. This little man had lots of smiles for me, just not for my camera unfortunately! But that is ok, I think we got lots of adorable photos of him and his gorgeous family.

I’m sharing a lot, because I had a lot of favorites!

I love that last one of the three siblings together! Sibling shots are always my favorite. Probably because as a mom I know how happy I am to get a good one of all my kiddos together!

three year old big sister was a bit of a tough cookie at first, not falling for any of my jokes or goofing around. But I did manage to get some adorable photos of her, like this next one, I love it! She is adorable!

This little guy had the best eyelashes! I don’t know why boys always get the best eyelashes, but they do.

I love his chubby little hands and arms… that is definitely a bonus to waiting a few weeks to do newborn pictures, they fill out more and have that adorable baby chub! melts my heart. I couldn’t get over how cute this little guy was… didn’t want to move him for fear of waking him up!

I’m so excited to announce I am now officially a dealer of Be Filled frames!

If you haven’t yet heard of Be Filled, it is a picture frame company run by my friend Tiffany. Tiffany has the most amazing sense of style (I have consulted her many times for advice on decorating my own home, she truly has an eye for design). She loves to decorate her own home with photographs, and especially loves to display them in cute frames. She is one smart woman because she saw an opportunity to start her own fancy frame business, which is absolutely thriving! It is so awesome to finally be able to get cute frames right here in Lethbridge without having to pay expensive shipping costs. Tiff also sells the most adorable day planners ever which you can also see on her website!

There are four frame styles to choose from, in 10 different colors. You can also get any of the designs as a stacked frame, which is incredibly adorable (basically just what it says, a frame stacked on top of another frame).

Here’s a preview of the four styles available…

As far as colors, you can choose from black, charcoal grey, light grey, russet brown, dark brown, pink, olive green, deep red, pink, purple, baby blue, teal, yellow and cream. I have samples available of every color as well as frame style if you want to see one for yourself.

If you are interested in ordering a frame please give me a call or email me!

To celebrate this new addition to my product line, I am giving away a free 8×10 frame! ALSO from now until Valentines day, order any frame in red or pink and get 25% off (single styles only, no stacks included in this sale).

Popping in to share one that stood out at me when I started uploading photos from my newborn session this past weekend. Here’s adorable Nathan. More to come soon!

Well I may be a bit late in saying this but Happy New Year! 2014 will be my 8th year as a photographer! Isn’t that incredible? Hard to believe but when I see some of the babies that I photographed my first year, now walking around as 7/8 year olds I know it is true! I am so thankful for all of my incredible clients that I’ve had over the years and I truly hope to work with you all again in the future!

I know the blog has been very quiet this past year. As most of you know I took some time off to enjoy my third little baby… he’s not so little anymore though, he is 11 months old already. :(   I’ve been thoroughly enjoying my time off just trying to savor every precious baby cuddle and… well let’s be honest  just trying to figure out life with 3 kids and find that mom/work balance (if anyone has found that perfect balance please let me know!)

I definitely plan to get back into business soon but please be advised I will be taking a limited number of sessions each month so please let me know in advance if you are pregnant and wanting a newborn session so we can get you on the schedule.

I have some exciting announcements coming soon so be sure to check back. New product offerings!! But for now I will just leave you with one of my favorite pictures of the cutest baby who ever lived… (no bias there LOL). He was 4 months old back then… he already looks so different!

I am not officially “back to work” yet, still taking some time to enjoy my newest sweet little baby boy and adjust to this whole “life with three kids thing”… but when a special person called me and asked if I would do some family portraits for her while all her kids (and grandkids) were together in one city I couldn’t say no! I had so much fun working with this big family, everyone was so sweet and lovely and easy to work with (something that can’t always be said of big groups!).

There are many more photos to choose from so I definitely had a hard time narrowing it down  to show a few on my blog. This family has been waiting so patiently for a sneak peek so here it is, I should be done all of the photos soon, but for now I really hope you enjoy these!

I was having so much fun at this session-it was brutally hot BUT I could not complain because we had such a great location, and such cooperative fun subjects! oh and I can’t forget to mention the donkey audience! LOL. :)
