Okay I couldn’t resist sharing a few more of this cutie, as promised…

I love this next one… one of my favorite newborn images ever I think, an AWAKE SMILE! How great is that?

And an asleep smile! How lucky am I to have captured both in one session?

Little Heston was 11 days old at our session, and he was such a good little poser. As was his big brother Heath, who gave me the most adorable smiles and poses himself. He was hilarious!

I just love this one…

Okay that’s a big enough sneak peek for now, I just keep finding cute ones to share as I prepare the gallery. So I may be sharing more very soon…

Just wanted to quickly post that I am taking a very limited number of sessions during the next couple months and my September calendar is already filling up. If you are wanting some fall photos (fall is my favorite time of year for outdoor photos!) or if you are expecting and due around that time please email me or give me a call so we can get your name down for one of the much coveted spots I have available!

My July and August spots are pretty much filled but if you are expecting and are due during the summer give me a call and I will see what I can do, I always try to make room for newborns!

Speaking of newborns here is a sneak peek, just one for now, I’ll post a few more soon since I am sure his parents are dying to see more!

Doesn’t this photo just scream, “It’s all about me!”? I love it…

Such a cutie pie little 1.5 year old.

Of course this isn’t an easy age to photograph… but Bailey did great. Especially once I broke out the Gerber Puffs…

oh yeah, those did the trick!

and I will end this sneak peek with a sweet moment, I thought this was adorable…

It has taken me way too long to get this blog post up, my computer has been playing tricks on me and running so slooooooooooow (could it be the fact that I am trying to run a batch, proof a session, upload a blog post and upload a lab order all at the same time)? I am trying to be the picture of efficiency and failing miserably… :-)

I promised I’d share a sneak peek from a recent family session, so here we go. These little girls were so cute and very busy, and we got some great family relationship portraits. Here are a few for now.

18 month old Scarlett…

and her 4 year old big sister Summer…

see I told you it was a cute family!

I love this last one, so funny. Gotta love little ones!

I have had quite a few requests for some updated pictures of my little guy on the blog so here we go… a few for now.

I can’t believe he is 9 months old… it makes me sad, it goes by so fast… my little sweetheart is getting to be a big boy already…

Everyone comments that I must have hundreds of portraits of him but I really don’t… I have hundreds upon hundreds of snapshots, but as for “going to the studio” for pictures we don’t do that very often… he is a very happy baby and he does cooperate pretty well but only for short periods of time (like a few minutes here, a few minutes there). After a couple minutes in studio he looks at me like, “mom, what are we doing, let’s go play now!”… and then refuses to look at my camera. It’s quite funny he actually makes a big show of looking intently at everything ELSE in the room but me…

So I try not to do it too often so that he won’t get too sick of seeing me with a camera in front of my face… plus the fact that I am working and don’t have a ton of free time these days!

I have lots of plans for some more images of my little bub so if all goes according to plan I should have more to share soon.

Oh and we were up in Calgary last month and had the chance to go visit my friend Danna, she is an amazing photographer and she offered to take a few of us so of course I took her up on that offer! I wanted photos of Parker and I together, I think it is so important for moms to be in the photos too, not just always behind the camera… Danna shared a few favorites on her blog, you can check them out here, I am so in love with the images she captured of us and I am soooo beyond grateful to her.

This little guy was so much fun to photograph, so HAPPY! I got so many adorable expressions from him, and he was such a poser too! He was almost 9 months old here, one of my favorite ages to work with.

This is just a sneak peek, I will try to share more once his gallery is ready. I had such a hard time choosing just a few to share, there are so many cute ones!

I love babies grabbing their feet so I was happy to get this image, it’s harder than you’d think to get a good one of that!
